Thoughts on these guns? I'm making my New Years resolution to buy myself a new gun. I want a 6 lb., straight stocked, 20 ga. o/u. After surfing the 'net for a couple weeks I've come to the conclusion that, considering my champagne tastes and beer budget, this might be the only option. Having not seen one in person, looking for someone that has and what he thinks.

Have a Happy New Year!
Steve

I had a Browning featherweight Citori lightning 20b once. It had 28" barrels and a POW stock. It was a very nice gun and I'm sorry I sold it. It had an alloy frame with steel inserts. Well made. For the money, I don't think you can go wrong with anything Browning.

I had one in 12 gauge. Wonderful gun, nice triggers, never a single malfunction. Weighed 6lbs 4oz with 26" barrels, by definition the Superlite Feather has a straight stock and aluminum frame. I sold mine to buy some old double or another after I made the mistake of asking an old reprobate at the gun club if he worried about his damascused barreled side by side coming unwound.

Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one should the want arise for a gun configured that way.

I am glad to be here.
