Gents,

I'm looking for a used takedown case for a 20 gauge SxS with 26" barrels. While I would buy new, I would prefer a used case to go along with the 60 yr old double. Any suggestions?

Jeff's outfitter cases are a great deal and you can get them sized to gauge and barrel length


but they are new not used with character as Danish Jager wants

The problem with older LOM cases from eBay is you need someone convenient with the leather skills to make the necessary repairs that will have to be made for the case to be useable. I have purchased several cases off eBay represented in excellent condition, and they all needed repairs to some degree or other. I do some work with leather myself, and I did not purchase blindly, but I quickly learned very few cases have had any regular care or maintenance. Fortunately, I had someone I could send them to for repairs.
