This was done by the factory because all parts were sent throughout the company for fitting and to make sure they came back to the same gun, they were serial numbered. This is for most fitted parts. The checkering from what I can see looks finer than most Ideal Grades, but hard to see at that angle. Nice feature with the HOT trigger. Also the capped pistol grip looks different. It is the original stock and for-end. David
