Ebay must have changed their policy on selling guns. There is a Parker receiver and a Stevens Favorite action for sale right now. When did they change their rules?

They probably don't realize what constitutes a "firearm" for purposes of regulation. Put a barrel and stock on either for listing and they would have heart attacks.

The powers to be at EBAY are dumber then a box of rocks when it comes to firearms. They rely om anti-gunners to blow the whistle on "prohibited" items. And even then, many anti's are equally clueless. Jim

Every once in awhile, a gun appears, like the Model 21 I picked up about three or four years ago. Most buyers are afraid to bid, thinking something will go wrong with the deal.

Ebay has not changed there policy as far as I know. It seems like if you use the word receiver in a add, it sends up a red flag and the add gets pulled. Many creative sellers have learned this, and use words like trigger housing or parts in there adds. How Ebay enforces there rules seems to depend on the anti gun climate at the time. At one point if you were selling holsters, gun cases or tools for guns you could not have a photo of a real gun in the add or it would get pulled.

Factory cutaway, serial number 150, mint condition, prototype single trigger and forend latch, no buttstock, no barrels, $500. It now has a wonderful mint prewar buttstock, compliments of an internet poster, probably someone from this site. It is shootable with barrels installed. I'm still looking for a set of damaged or cut off non ejector barrels to complete the outfit. There was internet discussion on this site about the gun and the "Rules of Ebay", but no one would bid. I believe my one bid won the auction. I've been collecting and shooting Model 21s for 50 years now, but this is my favorite. They'll let me keep it at the old folks home.
