Lawyer Who Wiped Out D.C. Ban Says It's About Liberties, Not Guns
By Paul Duggan
Meet the lawyer who conceived the lawsuit that gutted the District's tough gun-control statute this month. Meet the lawyer who recruited a group of strangers to sue the city and bankrolled their successful litigation out of his own pocket.

Howdy all,
Hope you found the piece to be interesting.
While the article is good news, I had to quit reading the letters/commentary following it. If there was ever an indicator that there is little or no hope of a dialogue with the "Aunties", their responses nail the case shut. As well, that demographic appears to have a lock on poor grammar, misspelling, inability to reason, and a huge ignorance of firearms and firearms owners.
I am thinking that that the resources of the 'Net will have to be used to saturate every firearm board and every forum with one worldwide message to attempt a 'mailing list' that unites -- or attempts to unite -- the casual gun owner with the concerned gun owner into a network for civil protests, demonstrations, picketing, and the all appurtenances of media clout that the "aunties" enjoy gratis from their ready made allies.
The present gun rights folks do a good job with few resources, but just keep the fire warm for the faithful. There needs to be made a spark, jolt, electrifying current that sweeps the gun boards worldwide, identifies the enemy, identifies the leaders, where they reside, where they work, with whom they are connected, what organizations feed and protect them, who runs said orgs, who is on the board, where do they live, and in general take the issue to the door of their building, their door step, their neighborhood, and put the spot light directly on them -- as people who believe that humans have no right to self defense.
Read the commentary at the Post article as far as your sense of nausea will allow, and then reflect a bit. These are the people who believe that they have a right to live in a fantasy land that will never happen, imposed upon the rest of us at the expense of our lives.
Is it "enough, already"?
Pretty big wish list, eh? ;~`)
