I just picked up a "trade gun" marked on then water table and barrel flats with an FK superimposed inside a circle. The date is 5/25 and serial # is 4 digit 33xx.
I see from the marks I find it was Kerner and Funk's mark. There is an "rw" on one barrel. It seems to be a high quality gun with a tang cocking slide. I'll post some pics when I get some good light. I read Funk was known for high quality drillings in small quantity. Any information would be appreciated.

Nice Funk stamps and a lovely Kerner-Anson Body action.

Nice gun. First question I ask the seller is chambering of rifle barrel. Sadly with old guns like these I await verdict, but sadly anticipate running away after the answer is given if known in the first place.

Jagermeister,
Don't be afraid of the old calibers, they are a "hoot"to load for.
