OK, I'm in the process of finding recipes for 12g RST 2 1/2" shells. I'm using PB powder with 7/8 and 3/4 oz of shot. Any recipes?

Mike, I believe the RST's are Cheddite hulls. Unfortunately I don't see any recipes for using PB podwer.
There are plenty of loads using Remington hulls and if you cut them to 2 1/2" and roll crimp them, the same loads for 2 3/4" on the Hodgdon site will work with 3/4 oz. and 7/8 oz. loads.

For the last 2 years I have been loading 2 3/4" Remington Gun Clubs, using Titewad powder, Claybuster 0175-12 wad, Winchester 209 primers and they are a very nice load. As others have stated, if I do my job, they do theirs and at a remarkable distance with good speed.

The hulls are indeed Cheddite. Hodgdon does have 2 1/2" load data but only for 1 oz on their site. I'm still searching. I ordered a reloading manual for Cheddite hulls through Precision Reloading.Hopefully that has more data.

Mike, I have used this one with RST shells. You have seen me shoot, so you know there is no way I can tell how they perform since any hit is a stroke of luck. We will see you at the Endless Mountain shoot.
The wads are available at Ballistics.

2 1/2" Cheddite(RST) hull
Cheddite or Winchester 209 primer
22 grains IMR PB powder
GU-1222 wad
1oz lead shot/6 fold crimp
1225 FPS@7200 PSI

I would start with the powder as so few powders are available with all the hoarding/production shortages. I am using Nitro 100 now. Have used PB, 7625, all producing pressures around 5-6k pushing 7/8 oz or 24 grams.

Mike I'm using Clays, and International Clays, the Gulandi wad previously mentioned and the RST 2 1/2 inch hull. 20gr gives me approx. 1200FPS and 6800 PSI
