#12388 is on its way to me now!
It's a damascus barrelled boxlock ejector game gun with intercepting sears, teardropped, straight gripped stock etc in - as best I can tell from emailed photos - quite crisp condition. I'm a little excited!

I have read a little about the man and the firm from elsewhere here; I wonder if anyone knows whether the firms' records exist? The case has the intriguing initials "T.W.G." embossed on the lid... it'd be nice to know who that could have been (if the case and the gun belong together; no guarantee...)

This may or may not be of help but I was told he used the names Blackmore and Blakemore.
Whether this is true or not I couldn't say. I looked it up on the Internet and few years ago but can't remember exactly where I got the info from.
