Can anyone tell me, how much trouble it is to bring a NON RESTRICTED gun in, from Canada bought in a Canadian Auction, if the buyer is a 01 Class F.F.L. Dealer? TIA

Have done this once from Martini and Hagn Gunmakers, maybe 3 years ago.It is a process, get permit from BATF, provide permit to seller, they ship and Customs processes at point of entry. It was painless, just took a while. M&H was very helpful. The rifle was C&R, which made direct ship to me possible, and I dealt with BATF which eliminated a middleman, and the person I dealt with was helpful. Hope this helps.

I buy and sell guns to and from Canada very often. If it is an antique, it is no problem at all. It is actually easier for a C&R holder to bring in a C%R using form 6 than it is for a regular FFL holder.
