Hello All,

I am in need of a safety lever for a commercial Martini. Like the Martini in the top of this picture has. Anyone know where I might find one?
These are Husqvarna Martinis but I am fairly sure the receivers were made in England.

By the way, it is not the same as a Martini shotgun safety.

Hello JKE,

Unfortunately I think your in for a long hard search for a spare part. Can I suggest that you try and locate precisely the same model rifle in full operating condition, get the owners permission to dismantle or remove the safety and then make a full engineering drawing of it including all cuts, angles and dimensions, then you find a gunsmith or skilled machinist to make you that part, if you can't make it yourself. It may be the quickest way of doing it.

Hello Harry and thank you,

Well then I will get to work making one. I just wanted to be sure there were none to be purchased before I started working on one.

jke,

If you can get in touch with Gert Claes (MartiniBelgium) through this or the ASSRA or British Militaria Forums he will likely to be able to help you with your safety problem, Few if any Europeans know more about the European Martini's than him. He's a nice friendly guy as well.
