I have two different cadet (small) martinis. The 1st is a bsa target rifle with parker hale sights I bought from Steve Bertram (at a very fair price). I think someone put a new pistol grip stock on it becuase it is poorly shaped. The forend is a target forend with all the bells and whistles. (I don't know what you call them.) The rifle has BSA markings and says .22 long, but is chambers and fires LR well. It does not have a cocking indicator like my surplus BSA cadet has.
I went to a site all about BSA's and all it did was confuse me.

So is there an easy way to tell? Serial numbers? orother markings. I haven't taken the BSA target rifle apart yet to see markings. The cadet is apart and being converted to .357 magnum, new stock etc.
Thanks for the help, (I also posted this on the AASRA site)
