Tom, not so common. Any L.C. Smith 16 gauge is a good gun, 30" barrels is good also, 32" and it would be rare.
This 1904 will have the second type of ejectors that were used until production stopped. The chambers should be 2 9/16" and hope that no one opened them to 2 3/4". The bores should be .650 both barrels and who knows what the chokes are now.
Since this gun was a special order, the customer could order what ever chokes they wanted or specify how many pellets they wanted in a 30" circle at 40 yards if they provided the type of shells they were going to use.
A 16 gauge is worth 50% more than the same gun in a 12 gauge, so I would say it is a nice gun to have.
