Picked up a decent old K-32 in Phoenix today. The wood is not too tattered but there is a hairline crack at the wrist. My hands tell me that I can feel it flex on closing, but maybe I'm just imagining the worst. Where should I look for a inexpensive to reasonably priced new or used stock or set? Or, is this perhaps repairable? I've seen RevDocDrew's Photo Trail and am astounded with the quality of repair shown there.

K-32 wood pops up on Ebay very often. Not as much demand as for the newer K-80 type wood so it often gets fewer bids.

Thanks for your help. I'm watching some on EBAY now.
Is the wood for the K-32 interchangable with the K-80s?
I'm guessing not.

K-80 and K-32 is not interchangable. You can have it fit, but why bother unless it is killer wood. You missed a great set about a week ago for $500.00? So good I thought about buying it myself just to have on hand. K-32 take off stocks are very plentiful and you should find a very nice one for a reasonable amount. Do not forget to look under Trap Stocks, and both Kreighoff and Krieghoff. Some people can not spell and the mispelled items get very few lookers and even less bidders.

I tried to PM you but it doesn't work. I have a set of Krieghoff wood if you still need it. Reasonable too.

I must correct a post that said the two models of wood are not interchangable. They most certainly are interchangable, but the tang of the K-32 trigger guard does not totally fill the void in the K-80 stock. A K-80 stock and forearm may be installed on a K-32 gun with no problem. To make the fit perfect, an inlay may be done in the void at the rear of the trigger guard, or it may be left a void or the trigger guard may be replaced with a K-80 trigger guard. All of my K-32s have K-80 stocks.

Steve: Dan Lammers 602-298-4635 was a factory Krieghoff smith and custom stocker. He might have some laying around if things don't work out with gunny.

The @#**% PM still doesn't work E-mail me at tolesh2athotmail.com and substitute @ for at. I would like to know why PMs don't work ever since Dave changed things?
