Most of the excitement these days come from learning about yet another rifle by an unknown maker. I would never have guessed years ago how many talented folks there were who were out of the limelight. Even though this is fun it's also very frustrating not being able to identify the makers.
I'm working with some photographs this last week and will post some unknowns in no particular order. After I see a few unknowns by the same maker I assign a nickname so don't let that throw you.
Please feel free to post any you might have or know about.

"Chicago-Guy" I know of three rifles for sure and have handled all three by this maker.

Not really unknown just not well known at all. This rifle was made by Alois Joseph Koshollek who was the brother of Emil Koshollek. It might look a little different but is a nice fitting rifle and comes naturally to the shoulder.
