Bill's wife Ann wrote last night to say he has sadly passed away, Sept 6, from a massive stroke. Hard to believe. The gun shows will never be the same without his smile and wit. A good man who served his country in difficult times. http://rtfoard.tributes.com/show/Bill-Harvey-96369664

Vic, Thanks for posting this bad news, and sorry I was away so long to hear it. I knew Bill for a number of years and always enjoyed seeing and talking with him at the double gun shoots. I am saddened by his passing.

Sorry to hear that. Bill stocked a couple of guns for me when I lived in the DC area and repaired a small chip on one of my favorite shooters that has held up for two decades now. Condolances to his family.

Sorry to hear Bill has passed. I have known him for decades and have been disappointed in the last few years when he has not taken in much work. His woodwork on Lindner guns was wonderful in a time when not many could climb this mountain. Fairwell to a fellow Army 11B from another time. Bill Murphy
