At this time of year, in this part of the world, the weather starts turning cold, so I do a few trips to where I grew up in Western Victoria to get firewood. That the season for ducks is usually open now allows me also to jump a few dams for a feed of ducks. One mountain duck (or Chestnut-breasted/Australian shelduck
