This is my first post here, but I read the forums here often. Today I picked up this Bernardelli 12 gauge, English grip, nicely engraved sidelock ejector. There is no model marking that I can find. Can anyone tell me what model this is and an approximate value? Thanks in advance, Rob

Yeah, I'm sure that is a "Roma 6" model intended for the european market.

I'm actually stationed in Japan and bought the gun here. It appears very near new. Would anyone care to put a value on it?
Thanks, Rob

One can find a Roma 6 priced anywhere from around 2K to 2.5K state side, pretty easy. With a bit of patience, sometimes between 1.5K and 2K.

Used to own one and very well made guns. However, they are a boxlock very well disguised as a sidelock.

The "pins" are merely pressed into the sideplate to complete the illusion it is a sidelock. Quite nicely done. In my opinion, V Bernadellis offer one of the best values in double guns today. They are a bit thick in the wrist but that's a result of having a throughbolt.
