Good afternoon Guys ...

I have had a custom Winchester High Wall on the project list for the last few years now. The wood is finally fit to the barreled action. I had a new half octagonal barrel contoured and fit to the action and I would like to have the Winchester barrel markings on the new barrel.
Other than Turnbull (don't care for his ego much) who else provides this service? I remember there were others but a Google search turns up with no one.

Mike Hunter has them.

Mike Hunter at Hunter Restoration does have Winchester roll marking equipment as he makes his own barrels. I don't know if he does other's barrels. He also does beautiful color case hardening. His web site seems to be down. I have sent him a PM for contact information and will pass it on when I get it.

Turnbull marks his "custom" guns with his name. All of their restorations are marked they way they were originally.
I was worried this question might start an ethics debate.

It's already been almost 3 decades now that people have been making (re)roll die stamping Winchester, Colt and Parker bbls. As well as making 'new' ones,,
Probably before that.
Just figure as soon as it became worth it..

It's been a while since I've been on this site. Yes I have most of the roll dies for the Winchester lever guns and the 1885 High/Low walls, and most of the cal markings.
