Maybe, but I think he used the name "Fred" if your searching official documents, at least that what my notes say.

I pulled my file and I have a question mark (?) by his name and the word brother. Frederick was born in 1892 and worked at Colt.

"Fred",is also sometimes short for "Alfred", you might check both.

I'm asking because I see Frederick was the father of Elyse Knox, the actress and mother of Mark Harmon.I wonder if the family has any souvenirs from their famous uncle.Thanks.

I spent some time with one of RJ Kornbrath grandsons learning about the family. The story of Kornbrath after his stroke in 1937 is depressing. The family fell on some hard times and there were very little in the way of souvenirs.

He would be well known and well paid if alive and working today.Plus, the benefits of modern medicine that might have saved him so much grief.
