I have used the CCL "Conditioning Oil" extensively and believe that it's one of the best slacum formulas out there. After much mixing of my own versions with with traditional slacum ingredients, I haven't been able to better the CCL, especially for quick drying or "tacking" time.
It seems expensive, but you can do a lot of stocks with the smallest bottle, if used for top coats only
The the rest of the materials in the CCL kit are not worth the money. Instead I make my own alkenet red oil or use NGR wood dyes, fill and seal with a waterlox and tung mix and then use CCL for the top coats. You'll also need wet and dry sandpaper, rottenstone and perhaps pumice, depending on how much gloss you want in your final finish
