It was good to spend some time talking with my friend Dennis Smith (The Stock Doctor) and his lovely Wife.

Saying hello to JJ Perdeau, and others I have had great experiences with over the years.

And meeting smallbore (Diggory Hadoke)for the first time, a fine gentleman. I expressed my concern to Dig about meeting Writers who's work I admired, because often they did not live up personally to the quality of their works. Dig in person is a pleasure to know and talk to.

And his latest work on Boxlocks is a good book to own !

Very kind words, thank you.

I very much enjoyed the show and met a surprising number of people - some for the first time, others old friends.

I was pleased to have the opportunity to show a good number of guns and talk with the students from the gunsmithing school about mechanisms they had never seen. I even sold a couple! A goos show, I thought.

I'm remiss in saying that I too had the pleasure of meeting Dig at the DSC show and purchased his newest book on boxlocks as well. Quite the gentleman, Mr. Dig and the book is well worth reading. One can own it too, of course;-);-) I'm not through it by a long way, but it is a real pleasure so far and on a subject long overdue. I'm reading it like a proper libation, slowly and w/great enjoyment. Thanks for taking the time and making the effort to research & write it, Dig. Hope the year proves a good one for you & yours. Much enjoyed the opportunity meeting though brief.

The offer to come & shoot some clays w/us, anytime, stands.

Best, tw
