The moniker police were close, but not right. Trout Unlimited, Ducks Unlimited, Ruffed Grouse Society. I support all of them (and others). Gotta give back if my grandkids are going to be able to enjoy what I have been able to

For choke tubes that do not have notches, or even those that do, the internally expanding wrench made by Carlson (sold by Cabelas) is excellent. Works on all types of choke tubes and I have not found one I couldn't loosen with it. FWIW the Briley thin wall chokes I have work well with this wrench but mine do have notches for a Briley speed wrench as well. I like the Carlson wrench better than other wrenches when I shoot sporting clays.
Thanks

grinI had a set of notchless screw-in chokes made for my 10Ga SxS that some Philistine had shortened the barrels. Very satisfied with the screw-in choke product and work. King City, Ontario Canada.

A prior owner put notchless Briley S1 chokes in one of the sets of barrels of my Purdey pigeon gun that were added by Purdey in 1967. They are virtually like Teagues that I have had in Perazzis and quite useful. The original Whitworth barrels remain mod/full.
