If you want something nicer than the standard case offered by Jeff's and Galazan, but can't swing a Huey, check out FEI in Wisconsin. They have some nice looking cases FEI
Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there.

I have one of Jeff's case, came with my Piotti BSEE, and am pleased with it.
That said, the traditional cases are nice for show or auto transport, but I'd 10 to one prefer a foam lined case for airline travel (Boyt/Pelican/Americase/BF Cases - the new Nasco look-alike).

You guys are comparing apples and oranges, traditional cases aren't intended for airline travel.

Lewis Drake sells a very nice upscale traditional English-style croc-embossed case for $1250. You can buy the exact same case direct from the guy that builds them for Drake at about 1/2 of what Drake gets for his. I've got one and can attest that it IS a quality built case. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121010891242?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Be nice to know what kind of gun OP wants to put in this case. Can't see buying an FEI or a Huey for a Sterlingworth, unless it's a custom Sterly. They look pretty nice and since I have a matching shotgun would make a nice set up to get them together. He might even want a two-gun case, but it's hard to tell from his post.

Thanks for the information on the cases. It looks like Jeff's in more in my price range. It will be a car/truck transport case as I ship in foam filled hard shell cases. Replacement....Its a bore rifle with 23.5 inch barrels and a scope, shotgun is the same make J.P. Sauer with 30 inch barrels.

So, do you want a two-gun case or two similar cases? Sounds like two similar cases would be easier to manage.
If you go with Jeff's cases and are going to use the cases for car/truck transport, you should probably get Jeff's case covers at the same time. I have both styles and I find that I prefer the lower priced covers (about $40) because they are more convenient. The more expensive covers (about $80) have a velcro seal around the perimeter and I find the velcro to be a PITA.
