Hey folks, first post. I'd like as much history as I can on this arm. 21xxx serial #. 16x16x 9,3x72R. Locks up like a safe. Appreciate the help.

Interesting that the touchmarks are somewhat worn, maybe a rework? It was made post 1912 & per-1923. WK, Wilhelm Kelber, was the tubeset knitter. Can you post an image of the marks on the water table?

Raimey,
What does the Husqvarna buttplate have to do with Gebr. Rempt? The only few drillings (Mod. 70)Husqvarna ever made where more or less sourced in the white fron Sauer & Sohn.

Hannes, I was trying to see just why a Husqvarna Vapenfabriks logo was doing on a Gebrüder Rempt double peddled by Ludwig Koppensteiner. I thought there might be a possibility that Husqvarna Vapenfabriks sourced Gebrüder Rempt seeing the buttplate was on the example. It might be a rogue buttplate and not original . It's a ways from Linz, Austria to Husqvarna but I wonder if Ludwig Koppensteiner had a Swedish client? Gebrüder Rempt turned out some sporting weapons and purchased the patent rights to Adolf Frank's design in 1908 and may have added their own flair.

Welcome to the site.

Can we see some more pics, maybe side views of the action and stock, the whole gun, etc.?

Assuming the gun is operable and tight, it should be no problem for pheasants - just another 16 ga that way. Try some 2 1/2 inch RSTs - it will almost certainly have been made with 65mm chambers and the wood is a century old (if it hasn't been restocked).

I'll get some more pics up this evening. Wood appears to be original and in great shape minus normal field marks. Metal is good as well, No pitting anywhere. All bores are shiny. Only one screw isnt original. It's one of the two that are on the safety.
