Berettas can have safety / barrel selector problems and a good cleaning always helps, on any gun. But the 470 is very a nice gun, worthy of a visit to a competent gunsmith and I think that would be your best option.

If you are comfortable with removing the stock, I would hose the trigger with a degreaser like brake cleaner, MAF cleaner etc.. if not, take it to an experienced smith.

It's also possible that the springs have weakened somewhat. Easy to replace, but it's still a trip to the 'smith.

A good cleaning will most likely fix the problem.

On the other hand my wife's 20 gauge Beretta 471 was easier to fix. I had loaded a very light 3/4 ounce load for her to shoot in her Beretta 303 semi-auto and it was 100% reliable in the 303. Her 471 was only about 75% reliable with this load so I increased the powder charge by two grains, which was still on the low side of listed loads, and the 471 now resets the trigger 100% of the time.

Ammo can be funny. My light 3/4 ounce reloads were 100% reliable in the 303 semi-auto and only 75% reliable resetting the trigger on the 471 SxS. The 3/4 ounce Fiocchi Trainer loads were just the opposite - reliable in the 471 and unreliable in the 303. Go figure.
