Just saw this Scherping 14 ga. Thought it might be of interest to some of you.

It is Clay and most interesting is the lack of a lower intercepting scear screw on the right side. There may be 2 14 bore Sherpings up forsale at the moment or I've seen this one this week. With the right trigger being a single set there must have been an additional set of tubes?

Kind Regards,

Lovely gun; high price! I don't know of anyone who makes either ammunition of cases for the 14 bore unless someone on the forum knows of a source. I'm still looking for a nice one for may collection but that one is a bit on the high side. Lagopus.....

This may be it from 2008 - http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/15846/lot/88/ but it appears someone used the incorrect slotted turnscrew? So like those cateyes on the fences.

A similar 20 bore Zella-Mehlis sourced: http://www.trapshooters.com/cfpages/thread.cfm?threadid=274736&Messages=3

I sold a 14 bore hammer gun in Germany 11 years ago and I seem to remember that fiocchi did a batch run of cases every few years they seemed popular in Italy, I hope my memory has not failed me.
