I need references for a gunsmith in CT who has experience working on English guns. I have a WC Scott twist 8 bore that I would like disassembled and I would like the barrels examined.

Pretty sure Abe Chaber is in that neck of the woods. Comes highly recommended.

That's awesome - I'm envious. In the last 25 years, I wonder how many turkeys have been killed in the US by an 8 gauge shotgun. Can't be many.

Where did you get the ammo?

If you send me a pics I would be happy to post it.

I researched CT law and it only said for Turkeys that it had to be at LEAST 20 gauge so....
I got my first with a 12 parker trap gun BTFE, VR ;second with a short ten Parker Hammer gun and was hoping for the chance with an 8 bore.
I'm done- that's the limit.
I used Gamebore BP #5 2 oz from Stephen Farfaro.
