Hi all, well these have been out for a while and I know some of you guys have them. My question is, how has this gun faired for you? Any problems with them, your likes, dislikes?
Worth the reduced price that they are offering?
Any comments would be great!
Thanks as always!
Greg

Don't know much about their guns but here's a video of their factory that I thought was entertaining. http://youtu.be/O83MwojJX20Adam

Greg, one of my friends has 16ga and 28ga Fausti Round Body he bought from Cabela's a couple years ago. He really likes them a lot. Uses them for live birds and clays. They are fixed choke which are tight so he's going to open them up. They have selector under the forend to choose extract or eject which is a nice feature. He bought them on sale for a good price.
With a fine gun on his arm, a man becomes a sporting gentleman, both on the field and off.

In Spanish we have a great word to describe the Fausti sisters and their company...

Greg, I field tested a RB 20ga. Nice gun. Chokes were somewhat tighter than one would have expected from what they were marked. For whatever reason, I could not hit well with the gun, even though it seemed to fit me. I don't recall a problem with triggers on the heavy side on that gun. However, a friend bought one of the SL (actually sideplated, not sidelock) versions of the same gun, and it does have heavy pulls. That seems to be a problem on quite a few new guns, unfortunately.
Those guns were just under $4K when Cabela's first had them. Significant price reduction since. They're competing in a tough niche, but the price is now below that of an AyA 4/53. The Faustis are certainly a more attractive package IMO--the guns that is, although the sisters are OK too! And I believe Fausti now provides service for their guns in the States.

One of our hunter/guests had one, and I hunted it for a day, I thought it a pretty good value for money

I saw a Fausti 410 that caught my eye just because it had long barrels. I dunno, they aren't inexpensive, but I'm not quite comfortable with the internal quality.
