I've found an Ithaca SKB that is missing the entire fore-end assembly (iron and stock). I'm not concerned about the stock but how difficult (expensive) would it be to find the iron or have a new one built?

Hello and welcome on your first post
You do not say what gauge the shotgun is chambered for.

See here

Thanks for the welcome, I've been lurking a long time. The gun is a 12 gauge, and it looks like the website you provided for a link has the part listed for the ejector model. Will have to go check it out and see if the gun is equipped with ejectors.

Turns out the gun has extractors and Numrich is sold out. Any other options?

I think you can usually use ejector fore end iron for extractors, but not vice versa. You just don't have any ejector parts to install. Compare the two drawings.

Try Sharp's guns LTD. 905 774 6368. Sharp's has Ithaca/SKB parts and may have the forend iron.

Wouldn't work in the case of an Ithaca SKB, without significantly modifying the forend iron. The forend on a Model 100 is a short splinter; it's a longer beavertail on all the ejector models.

Thanks for all the input. I tracked down an entire forend assembly (which would have to be assembled from parts) from Ron Spurs. He was extremely helpful and seemed knowledgeable about the old Ithaca/SKBs. He also confirmed my suspicion that the barrels had been cut. Turns out the price wasn't good enough to offset the cost of the forend and cut barrels.
