Need some help identifying marks on the barrel flats of this McComas 10 gauge. Gun appears to be similar to a Charles Daly Prussian hammer gun that is on gunbroker right now:

...the action and barrels likely imported by McComas and finished in Baltimore. Appreciate any thoughts...hopefully you can see the E mark in the close-up pics.

I don't know about the proof marks, but the gun sure looks Prussian to me.

What do you guys think?

Someone here must know about the proof marks...

Thanks

I'd say Belgian sourced components.

Image of intertwined, script EL, Epreuve de Liege, not the best but one I had on hand.

Note the position and form of the worn script EL on the underside of the left tube. Whatever Belgian marks were present were worked off with the exception of the diameter stamp, if that is what it is.

Can you pleasure us with an image of the water table & standing breech? The frame looks to be non-Suhl but it is possible that an in the white longarm was sourced from Belgium and completed in Suhl. Toplever with the Daly example is very similar. I don't think the M on the underside of the right tube to be for McComas as there were mechanics in Suhl that used the letter. Are there initials on the tube opposite the M stamp? I have strong reservations that McComas finished the sporting weapon.
