Found a spare set of early Kimber lever-release rings in the low height and 1" OD. These have the opposed right- and left-hand threads on the levers with no recoil projection on the bottom. See photo, they are the middle style with the lever.

These will fit the early Kimber and Warne Premier dovetail bases and also the Billingsley/Brownell/G&H bases as well as the standard 22RF tipoff 3/8" dovetail.

99-100% original soft blue, excellent in every way, $100 plus $5 shipping.
Regards, Joe

Joe,

Are you sure that they will fit both Warne Premiers and .22 3/8" dovetails? The reason I ask is that Warne (of which I have many sets) made rings for their Premier bases and separate rings for rimfire dovetails.

best,

Rob

Rob, I've found that many older Kimber rings have angled relief cuts in their female dovetails to clear the curved tops of the RF Kimber rifles made with the standard tipoff 3/8" dovetails. The male dovetail side-to-side dimensions are all much the same and it's easy to grind or file the clearance angles (hidden) inside the female dovetails on the rings.

Whenever these are sold on eBay, often the seller will specify that the rings either will or will not clear the curved-top receivers. It's immaterial to me since it's so simple to cut the necessary clearances and the cuts are totally hidden from the outside.

BTW these are unrelieved flat-bottom-dovetail rings, they work fine as-is on the Kimbers and Warne Premiers with the flat-top bases or my customs with ribs. For use on a smaller curved-top RF, they would need to have the clearance angles cut.
Regards, Joe

Would like to purchase your Kimber rings if still available. I will post a check upon receipt of your address.Just out of curiosity is the ring on the right also a Kimber ring? I have a set but have only seen Kimber of Oregon catalogs showing the series 3000 like yours on the left and the series 4000 lever types.Thanks.

Sorry, rings are traded to Whitey. The ring on the right is largely made of alloy with steel claws and screws, and I don't know the manufacturer but it fits fine.
