Did anyone talk to Tony or lou at Tulsa last weekend about the Inverness?

I did and Lou said they just shipped 60 of them and they are in full production. Said something like 550 were on order. I like the gun overall but noticed their final inspection and freeing up vis still below par with sticky safeties, top levers waaay to the right, etc. Metall to wood fit is good. Looked at the extended tang and it just didn't turn my tap--at least not $700 worth. The thirty inch, which is what I ordered, is definitely barrel heavy. It will not be a quick snap shooting gun.

I see in the other Inverness thread that one has hit the secondary retail market already. That one is a beautiful gun with the best pictures I've seen of an Inverness yet.

On the sellers web site they have that gun listed for $5999.00 I priced the same gun on CSMC's web site last night & it came out to $6670.00 if you ordered it today. Sure makes the initial offering look well worth the wait.

Mine will probably be for sale. I'm just too much of a SXS guy and too old to change. And I already have way too many. If so, it won't be at some ridiculous markup. I just ordered it on impulse. Thirty inch with no upgrades or options.
