dubbletrubble......don't know if you remember Pat Paulsen running for President back in the 60s, but that was one of his platforms when gun control came about- letting people buy all the guns they wanted but just don't sell them any bullets...... But if you notice, it is almost not worth reloading anymore due to the prices of shot. That is why I mentioned the Estate type throw away hulls. You can buy a box of them and throw them away for about the same price that it takes to reload. So, if it gets any worse, that could be the best way to go for those of us who reload. When you go to an event like the Grand American, you HAVE to buy their shells. You can't shoot your reloads. (And if you throw the hulls on the ground, they belong to the ATA. You can't pick them up. So you figure about 10,000 shooters shooting hundreds of rounds.) But now, a lot of the ammunition manufacturers, like Winchester are all starting to make their shells as throw aways. So I would guess more and more reloaders are going to be going to throw aways if the price of lead goes any higher.
