I have a very little used Grulla 209-H. I can't seem to get the splinter forearm to release. Pushing the button in, nothing seems to happen - dont want to apply too much pressure but puuling up just isn't getting it. I have had it off once.

Ideas?

Thanks

This is a common problem for them. Mine did the same when new, especially when hot. After it cools down, it should come off. Any good gunsmith will take a light file to it inside and it should be good. Make sure they are a "good" 'smith.

In the meantime, you can push in the button and use a pop sickle stick or similar to lightly pry it open.

Excellent! I was waiting to hear that . . . I just didn't want to start prying on it. I'll try that.

Thanks
