Does anyone know anything about this attempt to establish a museum of the gun trade in Birmingham?

In the current economic climate museums are closing all over Britain . As much as would like to see a Gun Trade Museum in Birmingham ,I can not see it happening in the near future.

Great idea, as a lad used to visit original museum. Maybe you can find some of those guns that went astray.

Hi all, thanks for the comments. I run the website and my main aim is to get as much information up on the web and available with regards to the Birmingham Gun Trade. Longer term it would be great to actually get a museum started but I think it may be a bit of a slow burner. As mentioned the current economic climate does not help matters, nor the political incorrectness of anything to do with firearms manufacture. You only to have to witness the brouhaha with regards to the 'renaming' of the Gun Quarter to realise the potential problems faced. Anyway, if anyone has some relevant information (or would like to help maintain the site!) please let me know.
