Hello,

My stash of bismuth is running low and need to stock up in a hurry. Did some searching tonight but not finding much. A case of 12 ga. 2 3/4 #4's is what I'm after but can't seem to find any case deal. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, you can also try New Era, $45 for a box of 25. Here's a link:

Good Luck!

I know Brian Erickson of New Era Ammunition. He is a stand up guy who delivers a very good product. Anything less tha $2 a round is a good price for non-toxic ammo.

Personally, I buy non-toxic ammo and shot whenever it is on sale. Recently in a small gun shop I discovered half a dozen boxes of older Kent TM #1 shot at less than $2 per round including tax. I had plenty of #2 and #1 non-toxic shells and didn't need any more but I added those under-priced boxes of TM to my stores.

Once can never have too much ammo...

Thanks all for the suggestions. Was not aware of New Era loads and will check them out. Hevi Shot CD supply seems to be getting skinny at most retailers. Found 2.75, 1 1/8 oz at Mack's...but I'm a bit leery of this stuff as I've heard more bad than good. Nice Shot from RST is a bit special. Anyone tried the Fiocchi Tundra? It's spendy but a few deals around.

Much wisdom Mark... I had a chance to get in on as much Bisimuth as I could buy from a large cache a few years ago and thought 2 cases would last a lifetime as I don't always shoot my doubles at ducks/geese. Went out on a solo hunt on the tidal Potomac yesterday and although shot fairly well to fill a mallard count... Had to do so looking at my last two boxes of the old bismuth and got that uneasy feeling... It is such a pleasure to me to shoot the old guns.
