Joe beat me to help Whitey, and its a bit far away anyway . . . how goes it gentlemen ??

But since we have your attention, does anyone have a stock they would lend as a pattern for an intermediate lenght action (the 1910 Mauser Model B version). The stock on my rifle is way oversanded (bottom metal protudes by 3/16ths). I'd love to obtain a loan of a nice example to send to a reputable duplicator 'stateside.

Tentman: If your purpose is to replace the original stock with one that replicates it, you might consider using auto body bondo it build up areas of the original wood, including the inletting. I t can then be duplicated without copying the existing damage. This might be easier than locating a suitable pattern.

I have a couple of original issue stock sets from 24/47 Mausers, which also were called "intermediate length" actions. I would be more interested in simply selling one of them, I suspect shipping back and forth would amount to near what I would take for a set anyway. If you can determine these would fit and work for you, let me know. I think a couple of the Mauser "build" books have detailed tables of interchangeability of parts.
