I have a Northcote double that I have used to shoot skeet for years.
This last outing I cocked the left hammer and it snapped in two.
My question is, where can I find a new one or a close match?
Or, who can I send it too to get it welded or ortherwise repaired?

I would check around welding shops locally in your area for an experienced welder who could laser weld the hammer for you....then file and refinish as necessary to match the right hammer....JMO......
Check at your local airport for certified aircraft welding shops that your local aircraft repair shops use....
If hardened, it would probably need to be annealed first, then welded and re-hardened......if you don't know the hardness, a good welding shop could probably check the hardness for you......and inspect the broken part and advise further......
Hope this helps....
Doug

Peter Dyson of the UK can supply new pairs of hammers should you require same to match your old ones, just in case. Mike

Send it to me, I don't mind doing it for you. I'll anneal it and TIG it, providing it has enough for me to groove and purchase.

All the above comments are great. An inferior choice to the above would be to buy a pair of reverse castings from Dixie Gun Works for $90.
Then you have to have those polished, then fitted, then engraved, then hardened. Not cheap, not fun. I'm stuck in this process right now.
