giw - you'll find the light coat of EEZOX enhances the appearance of Damascus barrels. I use the small cans so I can better control the amount I put on a clean rag and the bore mop or patch. As Ballistixx said, you'll get the hang of it in a jiffy.

Doverham - you're going to love the faint smell of EEZOX drifting out of and around the barrels, I guarantee it! Just remember not to sniff the barrels if the gun is loaded.

SAFETY FIRST!

Eezox can be used anywhere as a protectant and lubricant except wood (Clennzoil can be used on wood), but I'm not ready to trust it on load bearing points and surfaces, such as hinge pins, bites and bolts.

This is where I ordered mine from. http://www.eezox.com/

From the FAQ's section of the eezox.com website:

"Q. Is Eezox® safe for my wood stock?
A. Eezox® will not harm original wood stocks. Do not apply Eezox® to a painted or urethane coated stock."

Have any users here of Eezox experienced any issues with the finish on your gun's wood when using Eezox?

Wild Skies,I have used Eezox on all of my double guns and rifles and havn't seen any problems with the wood coming in contact with it.I don't put it directly on the wood but have had small amounts of it get on the wood with no problems.

I cleaned my gun with EEZOX and shot a round of clays. When I broke the gun down for cleaning the lumps were all black and I can't remove the stain.
I don't know whether or not it's the EEZOX but its the only culprit I can imagine.

Hi all, just want to say thanks for all the tips and suggestions. It is easy to use once you get the gist of it, like you all said. Been using it and so far so good.

Thanks again!!!!!
