I'm a convert;......Eezox.....hands down. I use a small artist's brush to apply to lockwork. If you don't over do it, it stays put. I have yet to see it migrate.

Yes. I use nothing else. I first bought a 8oz can. I bought a gallon for refill.

What I found is the more I use Eezox, the easier the cleaning is.

I still use grease. After shooting, I use Eezox to clean the action and re-apply.

Is Eex-ox available in the United States. Do the users think it is as good or better than Ballistol?

Ballistol for general overall use. RIG (rust inhibiting grease) for long term storage.

Eezox is made in USA. In Austin TX it's available from:

EEZOX is hard to beat as a preservative/oil I sometimes use Ballistoil for light cleaning.

I've made the switch to Eezox for all the aforementioned reasons, but another benefit I really like is that when properly applied Eezox doesn't run and migrate like oil-based products do, thus eliminating damage to the wood at the head of the stock.

Seriously, PA24 said I should try it, I've not looked back. I've found pages of proper research on various types of product alongside Eezox. It was the only one to full protect metal dumped into salt water over 3 months. Amazing stuff. As someone said above use it lightly...if it forms in a blob it can be a bugger to get off especially on the outside of damascus barrels smile
