I have sauer & sohn 16 ga. # 205xxx. My selective ejectors do not function properly. Broken ejector stop screw near lug was replaced recently (smith made a new screw). Field tested the gun with rst 2 1/2 shells. 1. When fired shells do not eject...appear to to be very tight in chambers...although unfired shells fit easily. 2.Unfireds do not lift for removal by hand as they on every other ejector gun I own....necessitating removal in each case by pushing out with rod from muzzle end. Spring is "loading up" and a loosened fired shell is vigorously ejected. Possibility that brass once fired is fired formed to chamber causing binding....but this does not explain why unfireds do not lift for hand removal. How does your 16 function in this department? Appreciate any input you may have. BTW the gun is in vg cond, per gunsmith . I really want to to take her out for dove season and maybe out west for pheasant shoot (again usng appropriate rst or other lite/ short loads). Also would appreciate name of good S&S gunsmith some near Alexandria, Va. Thanks ...........Pat
