Was at a local gun show and stumbled across this Husqvarna Model 20B 12 gauge. Made in 1946 it looks like it's been sitting in a vault for the last 65 years. Metal and wood 90%, bores perfect,no marks on breech face. Both opening lever and take down lever very tight, gun has seen little use.
Took it out to the local trap club and it shoots very well, did get some strange looks and a lot of, what the hell is that's?
With a slip on recoil pad should make a nice little field gun.

Nice find! I have a Model 51 which is just like yours except it not nearly as nice condition and is a top lever opener. IMHO the workmanship and quality of these old Huskys is superb. My guess is your chokes are pretty tight. You might want ot consider oening them for bird hunting.

Enjoy!

I've got a couple of 16s. The barrels are a bit rough, but not all that terrible. They shoot well, were cheap, and are definitely attention getters.

I suspect your old Husky is a 2 1/2 chambered gun, my Model 20 is.

When I opened the chokes on mine, it was choked so tight I had to start with a 16 Gauge reamer.

Mine's a tale that can't be told, my freedom I hold dear.

Very nice Husky with lots of case colors. The quirky Lefaucheux underlever action will start alot of conversations. These guns are a cheap way to scratch that hammergun itch some of us get. I've got four 16 ga. Huskys happily living in my safe. As mentioned these guns come from the factory with 2 1/2 inch chambers and choked full and fuller. Enjoy her.
