The mailman just made my day by delivering the "L.C.Smith,the Legend Lives" by John Houchin.I had almost forgotten that I had ordered it.
Any one interested in double guns must,repeat MUST have a copy of this book.The pictures are splendid,the design of the book first class and the text is very well done. If I had to find fault with anything it would be the index,but then I always look there first and realize once again that writing the index is probably the hardest part.I'd have to look back to see what I paid for this since I charged it to my favorite piece of plastic
but I don't want to know. It doesn't make any difference anyway.
It reminds me of what a friend of mine used to say when taking the first sip of Canadian Club. He would sigh and then say "How can they make anything so good and sell it so cheap"
That applies to this book.

I've been looking for my copy to arrive also. Distel, was your book delivered by USPS or someone else?

No L.C. Smith book here on the Washington/Idaho border. Ordered 22 November and posted to credit card bill 25 November. Could have bought it in person in Las Vegas, had it signed, and been half read by now!

I ordered the Monogram edition in early Oct. and still haven't got mine yet. The signed edition was supposed to be shipped till Jan. 15. Hope mine comes next week.

Dont be spoiling the book for me. I havent gottten mine yet. I was tempted to get one in Vegas and keep the one that I ordered in reserve but Im still waiting. I visited with John in Vegas and he seems like a real nice gentleman.

Mine was delivered by USPS.The mailing date was January 12th.I bought the Crown edition not the Deluxe.
