I was in a shop the other day ordering a Perazzi when in the corner I picked up a CSMC 21. It's the same configuration as one og my 21's. 30" vent Rib, Monte Carlo stock, but the thing I like about it was Thin Walls were installed. I figured it would make a nice clay gun. I know there not the real deal but are they worthy to be called a 21?
I am thinking this could take the place of a 21 I have that I have been wanting to have chokes installed. Not having to worry about ribs needed repair from South America shooting....

There are all sorts of opinions about CSMC Model 21's and most are like, well you know what I mean. I would examine a CSMC Model 21 and make your own decision.-Dick

Well I would consider them a "Real 21" since they bought up all the parts and started making them. I own a two barrel set in 20 and 28 gauge. the finish is excellent on this gun. The quality is fantastic.

The only negative I have ever heard is that they lack the word "WINCHESTER" and thus will not likely appreciate as might the real deal.
A Springer Spaniel, a 6# double and a fair day to hunt.

well you know what I mean. I really don't, the only time I have ever seen a CSCM 21 was for a few minutes. Winchester 21's that's a different story. Spill your guts on them.

Boxbirder: Go to 'Grand Royal' thread on about page 7 of this forum and you can read all about these. You are stirring up a hornet's nest with your question. They are supposedly pretty good guns but so far not collectors. Just don't pay a fortune for one!

Buzz this is a used gun 30" Vent RIb, 8 Briley chokes, the owner is highly motivated to sell from what I was told. I have several 21's but this one might make just a nice shooter. Not looking for any resale right now....
