Where's a good place to find an Ithaca flues 10ga butt stock,I'm not looking for anything fancy just a good stock to replace one that's cracked and oil soaked.

Let me be the first to suggest you might just enjoy fixing the one you have. A little Murphy's oil soap, a little acetone, a pile of elbow grease, acraglas and tru-oil, good as new.

If you are going to google directions and procedures may I suggest you include LC Smith in your search terms. Anyone who owns an Elsie knows how to fix a cracked stock.

That is a definate option, I would just like a backup plan if something goes wrong,I have done a couple stocks in the past.I just like a backup stock available if I do the pooch. THANKS for your input, I'm sure thats what I will do in the end.
