Anyone care to comment on this maker? I am interested in buying a sxs marked: Angelo Zoli, Gardone, Italy and wondered about the quality of his shotguns.

Is there also an Antonio Zoli?

Not sure about Angelo but there is an Antonio Zoli, which has been around for awhile

Angelo Zoli has made O/Us for several US firms; I believe that he made the first batches of Weatherby O/Us, including the ones called "Athena".

I have never had one, so can't comment on reliability. They LOOKED like very nice guns; the one I handled, a 20 Magnum (Aren't they all?) felt right to me. Perhaps somebody else has used one.

There are MANY Zolis in the Italian gun industry.

I had an O/U 20 Ga for several years in the seventies and eighties; a fine gun specially designed for doves, that I stupidly traded and I still miss. I understand that Angelo Zoli went bust at some point in the eighties or nineties.

I believe Angelo and Antonio were brothers. Haven't heard bad about either's guns.

I have a Antonio Zoli Delfino 12 ga. DT OU that is a good shooting gun with well regulated barrels.
