Our club investigated ZZ Bird and found the set-up cost and targets to be cost prohibitive> Then tried the clay target ring which was so popular that preparing the witness( a cotton ball hot glued under the dome)became so labor intensive for volunteers that they whent awol, and so did the tournements, and the very nice club revenue. We always felt that if the target manufactures could place a heavy paper disc inside the target dome at time of moulding this clay pigeon ring sport would take off.We had shooters waiting over two hours to shoot 10 targets, turn around and line up to do it again. They make specialty targets now for sportiung clays, add one more.
