I have a half-round forging block left over from a chisel-making project, and will donate it to anyone who wishes to share the postage expense, about $6-$7 each. This would be ideal for any aspiring smith who wishes to make his own tools. The piece I'm donating is the larger one with the 'wings' on the ends.

I'm gonna let the new owner saw off the ends, that Porta-Band wore me out! This will fit into one of the larger Priority Mail boxes and 'if it fits it ships', I guess even to Alaska and Hawaii.

Durn thing would be good for a bench anvil too!
Regards, Joe

YES< YES< spread the word, a pet peeve of mine. All the time I read that they will ship "Flat rate Priority" only to the lower 48, cost the same if it goes across the street or to Alaska.

Just ask my mailman, he no longer likes me. I had a couple hundred pounds of lead shipped in large flat rate boxes at fifty pounds each, the last one he dropped it on the front porch so hard it shook the house ;-).

It's yours, Bryndon. PM me your snail addy and I'll get it out to you, have to cut some 2x4 chunks to block it firmly 'cause it weighs 20-30 lbs.
