This just arrived at my house today. Remington 1894 10ga B grade 32" F/F, 8 3/4lbs, extractor gun. I am very pleased, gun is great condition and shows little evidence of any hard use. From what I have read 1894's in 10ga are rare and grade B 10's even more so. Looks to me like the gun was designed to accomodate ejectors. Does anyone know if this gun was converted to extractors looking at the pictures? Forend iron serno matches rest of gun. Did remington us the ejector forend iron on extractor guns to save money on production some how? Blue Book of gun values says to add a 15% premium for extractors. That struck me odd. All information about '94 10 bores is appreciated. Can't wait to shoot it with some Sherman Bell loads.

Crow Shooter,
I have seen two other 94's with ejector forends, but guns were extractor. Not stamped with the "E". Could have been using up exsisting inventory?

Peter A, my knowledge of 1894's is limited, I knew the grade was stamped on the barrels, on this gun there is B on the underside each. Would it have a BE if originally built as an ejector gun?

Were ejector guns stamped BE? Anyone else? The dolls head has two channels to accept left and right ejectors too. However as you can see in a previous phote there is no E stamped on the barrels, just a B, swiggley f and P.

Again the fit of the extractor is supurb and not a hack job.

I will be measuring up the barrels this afternoon at a friends who has all the proper tools. I anticpate 2 7/8". If not I will adjust my hull trimmer so I can shoot and enjoy it.
