The pics. need some explaining, starting at the top. #1- C&H in 30-06 with a 2 groove barrel, #2 - FN Supreme small ring in 6mm with a Douglas Sr. premium barrel, Herter's stock, all the stock work was by me some 40 years ago, #3 - Unknown 98 in 8x57 with a 26" military barrel, #4 - A 21 H Brno in 7x57 with a "factory" scope, #5 - I. Merfert in 8x57, #6 - Unknown 98 in 8x57, A 98 Remo with a custom 16 gau. slug barrel, #7 A Geco small ring in 8x57, the last two are Unknown, both have full lenght ribs, the small ring on the bottom is all engraved. Hope to have the stocks for the last 4 re-done this winter. --- John Can.
